FordPass 5.0.1 - Can't use remote start; slide always shows "Slide to Turn off"

Since I updated to Ford Pass 5, the slide to remotely turn on my car never worked. It always say 'Slide to Turn off Vehicle' even if my car is off and even after force exiting the app. I reverted to the old version of the app and was able to use the remote start but the other day I was forced to use the new version again. I just updated to 5.0.1 hoping this is fixed but it's not.

Range has always been showing as 0m. The only use I have for this app is the remote lock/unlock but otherwise, it's useless.

I don’t have remote start with my key. My key just has lock, unlock, and alarm

I have the same issue with my 2019 Escape.

I find that when I remote start with the key and manually shut off vehicle the app works for a short while then goes back to saying slide to turn off vehicle.

same. 2019 ford escape titanium. app worked great, now a slider for remote start is always slid to on and this feature does not work any longer. updates are supposed to improve apps, not break the most used feature.

This is happening on my 2023 F150 platinum powerboost as well.

Seeing the same problem. On 5.0.1 as well on a 2017 Escape Titanium
