FordPass Update

Hey,

We recently sent out an in-app message announcing the next big FordPass app update.

We’ve seen a lot of conversation in the forums and wanted to ease any concerns.

We are removing the ability to independently lock/unlock the cabin and cargo space on Transit Vans.

However, the ability to remotely lock/unlock all areas of your vehicle will remain in FordPass.

A big FordPass App update will start rolling out over the next few months, which will bring redesigned app features and functions. You’ll also get easier app navigation with fewer taps so owners get to what they need faster. Apple Watch integration will add convenience and flexibility. EV owners will benefit from simple sliders for target charge and EV functionality through the Apple Watch.

Thank you for the clarification. I noticed a far amount of noise on one of the uk groups on Facebook I’m sure this will be a welcome addition / confirmation that it’s not taking features away

Hopefully many of the features that v4 had will be back for v5..
