Hello and welcome to the FordPass Community Guidelines! These guidelines apply when using our Community and will help make the experience fun for everyone. 

 

As you may be aware, FordPass is our mobile app, which allows you to connect with your vehicle.

 

The FordPass community is to talk everything ‘Tech’ around our products here in the U.K.

This includes:

 

  • FordPass App
  • Ford Power-Up Software Updates
  • EV charging
  • FordPass subscriptions

We love these subjects and like to get into Geek mode whenever possible 😊.

 

We created this space to get closer to you, our customers as we value your opinions as well as wanting to learn from you. Tell us what you like 🙂 and what you don’t 😥.

 

The moderators and Ford contributors on this group are experts in this field, if they can’t help we will endeavour to find someone who can so please ask us anything! We will be as honest and open as possible with you and will always try to help. All we ask in return is that you please do not create posts that include the following:

 

  • Issues outside of the FordPass app / Tech Space. We have a large customer support network that can assist with vehicle-based subjects (see below contact details)
  • Promote or threaten harm 
  • Being rude to Ford Staff or Community members 
  • Are abusive
  • Are illegal or speculate ways to break the law
  • Encourage or speculate ways to void your warranty on Ford products and services
  • Violates the FordPass T&Cs
  • Discloses personal information 
  • Malicious content which could hinder a user’s experience on their devices such as Malware or viruses
  • Impersonating a person’s identity 
  • Trolling and name-calling
  • Transmission of unsolicited mass messages such as chain and junk mail, spam or the like
  • Unauthorised links to services, promotions and events

 

We want our community to be inclusive, please respect Ford, FordPass and the FordPass Community. Don't engage in activity that violates the Equality Act (2010). Nobody should feel targeted or feel excluded based on their:

 

  • Gender 
  • Sexual orientation 
  • Disability or medical condition
  • Race or Ethnicity 
  • Age 
  • Religion, Belief or Faith 
  • Physical appearance 

We also want our users to act accordingly to our values and truths. These vary from being curious to helping to create tomorrow. You can read more here:

 

Violating our FordPass Community Guidelines could lead to

  • the removal of the content that you've posted 
  • suspension of your account 
  • termination of your account 

These Guidelines from time to time, so please refer back to them regularly for reference if needed.

 

Your local dealership is your best source for assistance with your sales or ownership experience. If your inquiry or concern remains unresolved after working with your Sales Representative or Service Advisor, please contact either the Sales or the Service Manager at the dealership.
