Hey Ford,

As you know, many folks are having issues with their low voltage batteries in EVs reaching a low state of charge, due to the vehicle being woken up constantly by key fobs, 3rd party apps, FordPass and more. Due to the type of 12v battery used, this can cause permanent damage that reduces the longevity of the battery.

To help end users self-manage this problem, alleviating warranty claims and dealership work, please could you add:

- The current state of charge of the 12v battery. You used to show this data on the Ford owners website, but it's no longer accessible.

- A list of wake events in a "log" format, showing what woke the car up, how long it was awake for, and at what date/time

This would arm owners with so much useful information to debug issues with their vehicles and help mitigate issues before they arise.

In my opinion this is something a user shouldn't even need to worry about. EVs have a HVB that can be used to recharge the LVB. Let the system maintain itself and recharge the LBV when it needs to without anything being shown to a user.

Let's not add complexity to ownership.

If the vehicle wakes up and sees the LVB is low (Which it does see since FordPass will send a notification about electrical system drain.) Then just tell the HVB to recharge it. And if the HVB is at too low of a state(Like 10%-5%), then send a notification to the user as a critical alert. If the user ignores that alert and does nothing. Thats on them.

I can't see the LVB taking that much off the HVB when recharging...

Yeah agreed - I would love for it to be that smart, but it apparently isn't. The master technician I spoke to at the dealership when my car went in for a LVB replacement explained that it only charges when the vehicle is fully powered on, or when the HVB has finished charging and the car is still connected to the charger.

If the Mach-e's battery management can be reprogrammed, that would be ace, but regardless I'd still like to see logs of wake events.
