OTA Updates for UK Drivers

Hi @Ikenna do you know how long it will be before UK drivers get the same OTA updates that the US drivers are getting? Seems that there’s a lot rolled out to fix and improve things with the cars that just aren’t coming out over here (Frunk release, HVAC improvements etc.). What’s the plan?

We’ve been waiting for the electronic ‘Frunk’ opening for over 12 months now.

Don’t hold your breath.

This forum is quite poor. People make suggestions but it’s rare for anything to get done.

I had high hopes initially for it and accessed it nearly every day.

I’ve lost confidence in it now and probably come on once a month just to see if any progress has been made.

Hi @saltski, we recognise that our customers are keen to receive these updates. Our priority is to ensure that our technology puts quality and safety first for the customer. As we ramp up our delivery of Software Updates over the next 12-18 months, our ambition is to reduce this time lag in our process wherever possible.
