It's mentioned in this article that the Mach-E and F-150 Lightning soon will be able to share real-time battery information with Google Maps when using Android Auto:

Is there any more information on when we will see this and how it will work?
Also, is there any chance that Google maps will be able to trigger battery preconditioning before reaching a charger?
