I own a 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-e, and unfortunately, I haven't received any Ford Powerup updates yet. I'm having trouble determining the exact software version of my vehicle, but I believe it's around version 4.x.x or similar. Does anyone know why it takes so long for the updates to be distributed? I've heard that some users are already on version 6.3. Are there specific requirements to receive updates, or is it something to do with my specific model?
Thanks in advance for your help!

The updates are deployed in batches to specific VIN numbers, the sooner or later also your VIN will receive the updates. Just be sure that Automatic Updates is turned ON in the System Updates Menu.

From my understanding, the newer cars are shipped with newer software builds then what the older cars are on. Over time the older cars catch up to the newer cars and then the newer cars also get updated as the updates go along.
Probably the best way I can explain it.

It took me around 2-3 months after ownership to receive a power up update.
