No activate in fordpass app and no fordpass connect tile, the dealer told me that I don't have a modem while I see an esn number on the sync 4 screen and maps work normally ,
is the modem for fordpass connect different?

Navigation should work. You wouldn't get map updates, live traffic, weather data etc though if you do not have a modem or the modem is not connected.
