We are now rolling out Ford Power-Up 4 and 5 software updates to our customers in Europe. Details of these can be found later in this post.
Please read this first
To ensure a smooth delivery of these updates we strongly recommend:
The following is also very important to ensure undisrupted delivery:
We deploy updates, when they become available, in batches across a period of time. The vehicles selected for each batch will be chosen at random, so please don’t worry if you see someone online receive an update before you do, we haven’t forgotten you! It may take a few weeks for your updates to start arriving and there may also be a few weeks or more between each update. Your car will need to be driven regularly in order to receive all of the updates, if you are away on your holidays or business without your car it’ll be alright and the updates will resume once you are back home and on the road again.
With the many factors involved in deploying software updates to a vehicle, in a small number of cases, it may take more than one attempt to successfully deploy an update. If you do happen to receive an unsuccessful update please don’t panic, we will manage these situations remotely and ensure re-deployment happens, you won’t need to do anything.

Please note: Different vehicles and different model years may receive different updates due to different SYNC 4 systems and different vehicle content.

Hi there @Rob ,
Im From Portugal, nad have the same issues with my Focus from May 2023.
Sometimes, when receiving a Notification or changing screen the system appears to freeze and the audio gets "corrupted", similar to a Windows PC when getting BOD. Also noticed that when using navigation, the voice repeats twice the exit number (as you can see in the video), this can be a problem with the Portuguese Variant, but also needs fix.
Hope that Ford can do something about all this, since these issues are really a game breaking bugs

I recently contact my country representative from and it went withou any luck, they Kick this to the delaer/garage...
How can do they work like this? If there is a ticket for the developememt team Open for these game breaking issues, why not telling us? The car is great, but this "small" problems are completly running the experience... And we have to pay for the "Connect Naviagtion" since we ONLY get 1. Year free... And the software/firware is this bad...
