scheduled charging not working - Kuga phev

firstly this used to work fine and has worked perfectly for past 8 months

now it does not.  I have reset the fordpass connection as well.

basically the scheduled charging is ignored.  The car knows its at a preferred location and says it will finish at the preferred time but it ignores the start time.  so now it charges whenever i plug the cable in and not at 1am etc.  The screens on the app and the car state 1am to 5am charge times.  the car just ignores all that and starts charging regardless.
ideas anyone?

I think this is linked to the car understanding where it is via GPS?

well, not working again.

the car knows its at home.  the schedule is set correctly, the time to finish and start charging shows correctly but still it charges as soon as you plug it in.

Any ideas?

If the charge scheduler is like the Mach E it’s terrible. 
if you have the facility on your charge point use that scheduler it makes life much easier
