Hello, we have only had our car for about a month so we are still learning about it and it said it was going to do an update at 1am but the car would not start. We selected to do the update now thinking that would resolve the issue but the car still wouldn’t start and the update failed. The dealer towed it in and reset the computer but could not tell us what happened which was frustrating. Has anyone experienced this? We don’t want this to happen again. How best to program these updates and can you restart the computer without going to a dealer. Has anyone been able to review this with someone helpful at Ford as we have not had luck with our dealership.
