On the BMW and Mercedes apps it shows the door lock status, so you know if you forgot to lock your car. Can this feature be added to the Ford app? It would be very useful.

You can get this feature on the FordPass Pro app and we are looking to bring it to FordPass in the near future.

That would be a great feature, as some third party widgets are already doing it.... 😋

Ford pass pro does this and it’s free to use for individual users not just fleet , so when you log in you see if it’s locked or not

It’s good to bring this feature on to the ford pass app. At the moment we have both lock and unlock symbols at the same time, which is not really helpful to identify whether the car is locked or not. It should show the status as either locked or unlocked, and an icon to do the opposite function. There was no notification or alert even after I left the door wide open for nearly the whole day on my Mach E. I hope FordPass app is going to be updated with more handy features.

Would love to be able to check the app to make sure the car is locked.

You can do this in the ford pass pro app

My understanding is the Pro app is for fleet managed vehicles.  I don’t have a fleet, just one Mach E, and the status of the locks isn’t available in the Ford Pass app I use.

Standard people can use it, I just have 1 personal car and use it. It has features for fleet as in you can add extra cars etc.

Hi All,

just to say we are still actively working on this. FordPass Pro (FPP) does indeed have this feature and we are looking to do something similar if possible on FordPass. One key difference is that FPP is a European only app at this time meaning that the functionality was possible; with FordPass being a global app it leads to more complexity, therefore there are a few more steps that the dev teams need to take. They are busy looking at these currently.
