Remote start Mach E

It would be useful to be able to use the remote start feature on the Mach E when it has been parked overnight and not been on charge. As the vehicle goes into sleep mode currently this can't be done without going out to the car and waking up manually.

Hi, our teams are working to provide Software Updates that will improve the deep sleep issue to some affected vehicles.

My cars been back to the dealer and they’ve installed an update, don’t know if it’s going to solve the issue. But it’s good to know it’s on the radar to be fixed.

@Chrisw @I picked the car up today from the dealer. They’ve installed a software update but also said the auxiliary battery was a bit low. 
@Ikenna has posted about the proposed software update; it’s good to know they’ve acknowledged there is a problem affecting some vehicles. My dealer (who has sold a good number of Mach E’s) did say this is the time they’ve heard of this problem.

The 12v battery is likely the cause of your problem. 

I’ve just recently bought another Ford and the 12v is a little low on it and I get warnings in the app that connected services aren’t available.

the Mach e would definitely use the 12v battery to wake the car and control the connected services.

I used remote start this morning just before finishing work as the car was iced up it was left for at least 11hrs and worked fine.
When I do use it, I open the app press and hold the remote start icon, a warning comes up reduced security once I click ok the remote start icon spins and it took at least a minute  maybe two before at the top of the screen remote start started shutdown after 15 minutes.

are you getting any response from the app saying can’t connect or failed to start.

the other thing to check see if the car has signal there is an icon on the sync screen too left corner with two arrows up and down this shows it’s connected.

Thanks everyone for the responses, the car connects every time when it's on charge remote start works no problem. However once it's is parked 30 mins or more it goes into sleep mode. Don't think it's a 12 volt issue as I've had no warnings  or messages on the car or the app. As I said once it's parked and locked not on charge it shows as the screenshot attached, this also happens if on charge and it reaches 100% and stops charging. Just a minor thing but makes the remote start to defrost and warm the batteries a bit point less if I have to go to the car to wake it up. 

Hopefully a update will come OTA as I don't have time to take to the retailer for updates or diagnosis.
