Costs for Live Traffic after just one year with SYNC 4?!

Hello everyone,

I have a Ford Focus MY 2022.50 with SYNC 4 in Germany.

A few days ago, I received an email saying that my free trial period for Live Traffic is about to end.

However, the bottom of the email clearly states that Live Traffic is free for ten years for vehicles with SYNC 4 and not just one year.

Why do I have to pay for Live Traffic after just one year? Of course I will NOT do that, I will just use Apple Maps. But why don't I have the ten years of free Live Traffic as promised?

Where does it state the 10 free years? I have only ever seen ”free for one year”.

I’m from sweden.

Although I have noticed that there are differences with warranty and subscription

lengths with Ford across europe. For example we have the 5 year extanded warranty

included in Sweden which I have seen other countries have to pay extra for.

But having Live Traffic service free for 10 years sounds strangely long to me.

Would be nice if they offered it though.

I‘m sorry, my fault. It says 5 years for SYNC 4 not ten. But not only one!
