This suggestion is more for iOS than android version, but it would be to utilize a very useful feature on iOS 16 called Live Actives. (https://developer.apple.com/design/human-interface-guidelines/live-activities) This could be used for charging sessions of any type or for DC Fast charging sessions on EVs. It would be an easy way for customers to see the progress and monitor charging better.
For non EVs there could be other applications to the feature like tracking remote start time remaining or other time dependent events.
