What do I do if FordPass doesn't appear in the 'Mobile apps' section of my vehicle's SYNC touchscreen?

 

Answer

If you have FordPass installed on your phone and your vehicle has been added, then it should connect to your car via AppLink.

 

If the FordPass tile doesn't appear in the 'Mobile apps' section of your vehicle's touchscreen then there is a simple trick to re-establish the connection.

 

  • Go to the Bluetooth settings in your vehicle's touchscreen and turn Bluetooth off,
  • Wait a few seconds and then turn it back on again.
  • After the connection is reestablished, you should be able to find FordPass in the 'Mobile apps' section.
