Our Mustang Mach-E (MY21) customers have some exciting features and enhancements to look forward to, including
- Sketch
- enhanced integration with Apple CarPlay – this includes super-sized Apple CarPlay graphics on the SYNC touchscreen
- intelligent route planning where the range is calculated based on real-time data including the charge remaining, weather and traffic
- activating the Horn and Lights feature to locate the vehicle using a future release of the FordPass app
Background Notes:
- Activating Horn and Lights using Bluetooth as part of Phone as a Key feature is available already for Mach-E MY21 customers in Europe, except in the UK. The OTA update will be applicable for Mach-E MY21 customers who want to activate Horn and Lights via a future release of the FordPass app. MY22 customers will already have the capability, and the feature can be activated via FordPass.
- Apple CarPlay EV routing is not yet available in Europe but is available in the US
